We is an intelligent and intentional approach to the future-dystopia genre. Every detail seems carefully crafted to make a point about some aspect of society. One great example of this is how the characters 'I' and 'U' played perfectly into the idea and language of ‘We'. Simply put, the book is incredibly well thought out.

I feel that what We has to say is conveyed far more clearly and effectively than either of its better-known similars, 1984 and Brave New World, despite being the oldest of the three.

My biggest complaint, thought, is that the main character can be quite the simpering baby. Additionally, all the mathematical talk in the book was completely unnecessary and didn't really accomplish anything.
